Drop down tailgate to side opening

Hi does anyone have any photos of turning their drop down to side opening? I'd like a latch rather than the pins. Which latch to get would be ideal I'm thinking it might have to be a series type? The tub already has the catch. I have seen you can get a whole new tailgate, but I prefer the look of the original tailgate. Cheers
