After replacing a blown front indicator bulb my LED driving lights don't work. I have tried switching the ignition on then turning it off; then starting the engine as per normal but this hasn't worked. Does anyone know how to solve this problem without going to a garage for a "hard reset" on their computer? I had to do this four years ago and they charged £90-00 !! I would like to avoid having to do this again if possible. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

As above. A hard reset simply means disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, to allow the capacitors in the modules to discharge. Once discharged, any errors caused by a spurious data corruption will be cleared, giving the necessary reset.

Thanks for your input, I have now managed to solve the problem - I have posted how.

THANK FOR YOUR INPUT GUYS- THE LIGHTS ARE NOW WORKING. I watched a YouTube video (Here's the link: ) and did what they said. However, having done this the lights still did not work. But later I had to go into town (round trip of approx 4 Miles) and when my wife got out to open a gate she reported the lights were ON ! I was still in the car with the engine running so I got out and checked and sure enough they were! Now I'm a non-techie Luddite but all I can think is that the ECU needs time to re-set all the gubbins. So If you have a problem with the ECU, try following the YOUTUBE video but then give your car a run - hopefully it will work for you too. Once again many thanks for your info.:)
