Hi
I’ve got a Range Rover L322 2004 4.4 Petrol
This morning the drivers door wouldn’t open, it wouldn’t open on the Fob, external or intenal hand, although the actuator did seem to be working and the lock popped up.
I’m assuming as all 3 aren’t working it’s the lock itself and unlikely to be a cable.
How do I get the door open to get at the lock.
Thanks
Tim

Thanks for the replies, my 1st thought was frozen, so I sprayed some WD40 in the key, I also got in from the passenger side and tried to force it with my shoulder, it seemed good and stuck. I’ll give it a little time to see if it thaws but none of the other doors were frozen.
Thanks again

Watched my neighbour do exactly this. All doors but the drivers door opened.
A good push from outside sorted it.

But the lock mechanism can be frozen too

Yes it was frozen, I went out 30 mins ago and it opened 1st time, I did try closing and opening it with a lot of force 1st time. I’ve now gone around spraying oil in the all the locks, it might help.
Thanks again

Extension and one of wifes hair dryers and warm round door frame has done the trick for me
I did similar a few weeks ago. Dyson heater on under the cover for 10 minutes. Then hairdryer along where lock mechanism is.
I will add my driver's door is the last one to unfreeze. I've found spraying with de-icer then going into passenger side and opening it with a gentle push does the trick.
I've tried the silicon spray with no joy. These almost double figure minus temps now have me putting a towel between the rubber seals before covering. The lock still needed opening from inside and a gentle push to door this morning. It was -8 at 0900 so I'll let her off with it.

If it's predominantly the drivers door, maybe park the car 180 degrees around. Then it should be the oposite rear passenger door ??

If only it were so simple., Might be for OP but I know it doesn't work for me. Not sure if the fact only the driver's door has a keyhole has any bearing. But I'm leaning towards that, as every time they freeze the driver's door is last ( and hardest) to unlock. Even driver's side passenger door opens whilst driver's door is quite unpolitely saying "nope not today , thanks".
