First time posting on a forum. I’m a lurker and have learned a lot from these sites. Now it’s my time to post.

My freelander 2 (57 reg) driver door and rear driver door locks have suddenly stopped working at the same time.

Bit of background - the key fob doesn’t work at the moment so I’m locking/unlocking the car with the key on the passenger side door manually.

Today I got in the car and pressed the central lock button on my dash to find the drivers door isn’t locking and the driver rear. When I click in the drivers lock it is locking manually as well as locking the passenger front and rear at the same time. But not the driver rear. I thought it could be a fuse so I changed them and no luck.

I’m having to climb over to get into my drivers door now (which is not easy!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue (fob not working for locking the car), but for me any fob unlock and manual lock doesnt work for the passenger rear. How are you planning to fix your key fob? I know you can't get into the casing without breaking it. Someone mentioned online that attempting to repair it can "unsync" the key signal to your Freelander. Common problem.
