Don't forget its "drive it day" this sunday so there should be quite a few events on.

This is fun but its also intended to show those in power the scale and economic value of the UK classic vehicle sector and remind people of our herititage.
We'll be at Brooklands:

Hope to see some of you there!

Hadn't heard about this, nobody tells me anything. I'll have a look locally, hopefully there will be something on. Quite agree about the powers that be needing to know... "Arise like lions after slumber" etc.

We need to establish an annual "fix it day", perhaps the day before? jokes asisde the FBHVC do an annual survey on how much classic vehile owners spend on their hobby including fuel, spares, labour and days out. They compile this into a case to lobby government and I think this helped get the 40 year rolling exemption so there's a serious side too. Be warned if you fill the survey in do it in private as SWMBO could have a fit when the total comes up, some things are best kept private.

It the London marathon on Sunday so if you know any one running and are are being made to go and watch you miss out on the classic car runs!! And being in London I wont even see any that are just out to enjoy the day
