Simply how easy to drive away if no keys?

Just need to work out if I need to remove something as well, or if standard immobiliser is good enough

Great that is fine, I just have to park in a city centre car park for a couple of hours, tools already in my garage

Whenever I find it necessary to park in a city centre car park, especially one that I'm not familiar with I always slip the Disclock on the steering wheel as well. Just to be on the safe side and as a visible deterant.
The rear load space on mine also has the draw-over cover.

Ended up in a car park a mile away from the destination, no problem for the others in the car, but it was for Mr damaged back and weak achillies tendon.

Anyway was a bit pants (£8 burger), rest were on the piss so me and a collegue headed back (taxi) and I stepped on dodgy road height difference at the car park entrance and wrecked my ankle.

Colleagues best bit was a ride in my Discovery, mine was getting home.

Right ankle like a balloon.

Oh and only person older at the venue was my boss.

I feel for you doing your ankle. Take care of it, ice packs to bring down the swelling and strap it up if necessary. It took me six months for mine to stop giving me a bit of pain after I tore a ligament on that mountainside at the end of last year. It still isn't fully back to normal even now, but at least it doesn't hurt any more.

Slightly paranoid..LOL. Never even considered my D2 to be much of a target for thieves.
Bearing in mind how many people have trouble with the fobs , receiver et and cannot get them started. I think the std system is pretty good.

Cheers

It would be interesting to hear from anyone who actually had their D2 driven away (not towed) when it had been left with the standard locking / immobilisation. I don't expect too many replies......

I have no worries leaving mine parked anywhere although a few years ago somebody did nick my headlight guards. God knows why.
