Drips from Sunroof Winder

I have a 2002 Disco2 TD5. About a year ago, I got occasional drips after rain, from the winder on the front sunroof. I cleaned the seal, and used vaseline on the rubber seal to help it...erm seal, and it went away for a year. It's now come back and I've tried the same clean/vaseline trick but it still drips! The drains work fine, so I'm confused.
Anyone else seen this and fixed it?

if ya seal is all in place and looks good, it may be that the winder does not close the sunroof glass tight against the seal,
try over winding your handle, it will wind on a further 1/8 - 1/4 turn but the handle will then not seat in its correct position, see if it drips in after that,
