Dreaded engine Start Problems

Advice Please
have p38 4.6 Motronic engine
My problem is the engine cranks but doesnt fire, have following Symptoms

Engine check light comes on
Syncmate comes up with 1 Red LED flash (ECM failed to wake)
RAC diagnostics showed imobiliser active
Key is fine used ey access code etc
Obviously no spark at the plugs

Do I need to check poer supply to ECM if so how
Any other suggestions welcome

When you enter the EKA code did you notice if the headlight warning light came on in the middle of the dash (green warning light) each time you turned the key for the EKA code? What brought the symptoms on? flat battery...low battery due to short runs? water ingress due to weather? etc. etc..

i had exact same problem turned out was my fuel pump,you 100% sure your getting a spark ? , check your fuel rail bleed valve depress that and see if the systm is pressured, yours is probably electronic but mine was the same and i was shocked that is was the pump

Thanks for replies, I have fitted a new battery but had been away for a week plus all the rain made strange things start to happen, central locking etc. I then realised I had made a mistake when reading the syncmate manual and I feel stupid but it was an easy mistake so despite my shame this is what i did. Put syncmate into OBD then turned the key to position 2, I then got the message ECM wont awake, I should have turned the key to position 2 first then put syncmate in. It worked what an idiot. since then however I have had strange issues with central locking and now have the leak in the passenger side footwell. I was warned that owning this car would be a labour of love, and boy it is
