Hi all, am in the process of converting my 110 to a double cab pick up. Was wondering if anyone has seen or knows if anyone makes a single rear roll over hoop for Land Rover pickups, like those that you often see on Jap pickups (usually garish chrome).

Cheers

Not actually started yet (working on 300 Tdi conversion at the moment) but I have collected all the bits I need for the conversion... I.e., roof, rear cab, rear bulkhead etc.

How did you fit the rear bulkhead? Easy? Difficult? If you've got any pictures or tips it'd be much appreciated for when I get round to it.

Ah right! Ive an absolute heap of pictures so let me know what ya want and ill post em up this evening if i get the chance, bulkhead was very easy in fairness, i got a sheet of 1.5mm ally and a 3 meter strip of right angle ally.

then just cut it to suit the profile of the body and riveted it in place with the ally strip! had the whole conversion done in a day but i had to modify my existing roof, as i couldnt afford the DC roof :)

One tip ill give you is be sure to put the rear wall on before you take measurements for the bulkhead as the body on mine had to be slightly pulled in to get it to sit right :)

As for the capping, i just made mine out of ally, worked out all right :)

any questions just ask! :)

Ah I see, I have actually got hold of a complete rear bulkhead from a pickup, so wont need to make my own. I take it it will just be a case of lining it up underneath the rear cab and then fixing it in position?.

Any pictures would be great :)

Speak to Hamsterberg, i dont know if he did the conversion but he has a smart looking DC and if i remember correctly it has a roll cage of sorts.
