hello, and good evening
Thought I would finally get around to introducing myself and my ride "Dennis"
I'm from the sunny south coast, or Bournemouth to be exact
And a little about Dennis.
Dennis the menace is a 2000 D2 TD5
145k.
My first landrover & first 4x4 (I come over from the VAG scene BOOO)
And what a learning experience these first few weeks have been.
Rear brake hose burst after 9 hours of ownership!
Since then I have flushed trans / diff and gearbox fluids (that 75w/90 stinks)!
Plans going forward:
Waxoil under neath, straight through exhaust, discs & pads need doing, and just general maintenance.
I do enjoy the landrover I must say, it is great to be able to get under the car without lifting it! Plus maintenance and costs seem great!
I think that's all for now, but if I'm anything as active here as I have been on previous forums then you will soon be sick of me
Catch you all soon
Ben
