Worked a treat @ -5 this morning.
I do miss the heated screen though but luckily the heater on these things are good .
eh?You can also turn the screen heat button on and shut the front and rear screens off via their buttons and this super heats the cabin quickly
Yep, as you read it, turn on the screen program, then turn off the rear screen and the front screen leaving it in screen heat mode and it'll heat the cabin fast. On the P38 that is.eh?
turn the heated screens on, then turn them off?
get some gummi pledge spray by liquid moly, amazon, like the budgie...... cheap and betterer than sillycone.Took a lot of faffing to get in. Got to run the Doris to work for 6am tomorrow morning so would like to not have stuck doors to contend with at that time of the morning, predicting-5 deg here tomorrow and it was only -1 yesterday when they were seemingly welded shut.
What's best to put on the seals to stop the sticking? Vasaline? or....
ahhh you mean the defrost button?Yep, as you read it, turn on the screen program, then turn off the rear screen and the front screen leaving it in screen heat mode and it'll heat the cabin fast. On the P38 that is.

dont use vaseline unless you want to dissolve yer rubbers lol
graphite powder or spray,Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Now just to find something that will work with the locks
its not cheap elsewhere, spesh in germany, Liqyud Moly is not a cheap brand, but for some reason omnipart or amazon ave it cheap, i dare say it has some silcone in it but its a rubber lube and restorer primarily. I used it in northern Sweden, its the go to anti door sticking agent there, @ -34 if if works there it will work anywhere!thats probably got silicone in it.. most cheap spray polishes do
Do you mean press the "Program button" then turn the heated screens off?Yep, as you read it, turn on the screen program, then turn off the rear screen and the front screen leaving it in screen heat mode and it'll heat the cabin fast. On the P38 that is.
That's the one kiddo it works great on me bus.Do you mean press the "Program button" then turn the heated screens off?
Yip...ahhh you mean the defrost button?
sets the fan to max and internal re-circulation.. thats all
I use it regularly this time of year but leave the headed screens on in the belief that the extra load on the engine will warm it up quicker. The heated windscreen only has 2 lines that worth so turning it off would make little difference.Yip...
Oh dearThe heated windscreen only has 2 lines that worth so turning it off would make little difference.
Not a necessary feature here, different in Canada with minus 40COh dear
