Door seal help

Hi all,
Just fitting new doors and in the process I've noticed the seals are fitted wrongly...I think.
My old defender used to clip over the panel edges, this ones been stuck and bolted in the channel,

Thoughts? what's your seal like please?




ps shall I stick with the BS224 deep bronze green that I top coated my doors in or should I go landrover bronze which is slightly lighter?

id have folded lip over then slotted seals over ,unless i was fitting new series type of seals

so series seals go on in the same way as my pics then James?
