D2 front driveshaft seal

So 1 old seal is out now, and measures approx 35.4. probably was near 35 when it was fitted.
I think the manufacturer is BJS, but it's pretty small letters :eek:
 
Well, the oh so fine allmakes seal started leaking in a few weeks or so.
So, crap they are, I just haven't got to ordering proper ones etc...
 
I have to reiterate:
Measure the ID of seals and if it's below 35.9mm they'll fail in no time,.....
So it's simple as that to measure the seals and dont even fit them if they are tighter... or machine down the shaft shields then any seal is good... i have more than 15K miles done since then with some aftermarket seals without probs
 
So job done, I will agree with @Anaconda that the NAK ones require more force to put in.
I had lost about 300ml of oil. One of my mudshields has a bit of a groove worn in it but I wasn't to concerned as it wasn't leaking before I replaced them first time
