Hi,
I recently had a flat battery on my P38 (not uncommon!). Tried entering the EKA without success- it has always been very difficult.
Took the door card off and did the micro switch test which were all fine. Checked the voltage across the plug and I’m only getting 4.5V? I would have expected 12V, or is it stepped down for some reason?

Thanks

Dodgy connector at the outstation ? I had one like this on passenger side for the CDL switch causing the door to unlock ok, but never locked.
So I removed socket terminal from housing and squished it slightly. Now the connection is good.

Somewhere on here is a post by me with the voltages I had. I recall the motors in the actuator are underrated so they can only handle a pulse of power or they burn out.
