Door handles

Still gotta do this.....but worried I'll break something else with my track record!!
James if you are talking about the door handles it really is a 2min job each side.Just one torx holding the handle,undo it slide the handle forward and pull out at the rear and snip off the lug that doesn't have a rod attached ,bit of grease of your choice while you are in there and refit as you removed.

If you are talking about the rear airsprings, i was lucky as both pins and pipe were easy to remove, and with 2 jacks it's a 15 minute job each side.
Fitted full kit to compressor and had no problems as once it is opened up and stripped the only tricky bit is trying to get the ring that holds the seal on the piston, it's a bit reluctant to come off.
 
Did my door handles last week. I was slightly sceptical as I assumed the other bit had a groove worn into it as well as the RR.net article suggests, but it really was that simple. Wish I had done it a couple of years ago.

Used a pair of short nosed pliers to snap the bit off - just a small twist.

They both needed some grease adding, but they're both perfect now.
