Door Handle Material

Ok, so this going to seem like a strange question, but I need to know what material the exterior door handles are made from

The most likely candidates are ABS or nylon, but I can't any information one way or the other, anyone got any ideas ?

Should be cast into the handle material on the back, which you cannot see of course.

I've got a couple of handles in the parts box, I'll have a look later.

I'm having them chrome plated and the plating firm needs to know what material it is

OK, I guess no-one knew the answer. I finally got the answer from Land Rover customer support, so in case anyone else is interested the answer is
copolyamide 66/6 with 30% glass fibre reinforcement
