They all go there at this spot exactly( if cars of a certain age) quick bead of weld sorts it out. Just one of those things that Land Rover let go by when not investing in the model.

I had the same problem as you, but I have never welded, so I bought this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/pro-90-mig-welder/. After less than half an hour practice the crack in the door was repaired.
The welder comes with a stupid plastic mask, do yourself a favor from the start and get an auto dimming mask https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-gwh4-black-grindingarc-activated-solar/ I got this one.
This is the opinion of someone with no previous experience in welding and a newly fixed door.
