Well she's finally back on the road and running, the gearbox and rear crankshaft oil seal are done. She's been layed up for 4 months it was a combination of illness and family commitments that held the job up but anyway we've made it. I'd forgotten what it was actually like to drive the old bugger and she's just as unforgiving as ever. It's not as quick nor as comfy as the Ayathollahs Escort GTi but I don't care.
Today was the first time that the Landy had been fired up for months but prior to this the Ayathollah had just washed and shammied the Escort (its white) which was parked to the right of the Landy. I fired the Landy up and sprayed her motor with months worth of stagnant crap from the exhaust system (Tin hat time) she was less than happy, but then again when ARE they happy ?.:D
Most importantly, MANY THANKS PAUL FOR ALL YOUR HELP MATE.

Regards WP.
