NFU seem to be the best choice so far...

turns out that if im carrying tools to fix the fence that my pet horses have broken in our field i;am using the land rover commercially ......hence now my insurance has just tripled....

now then its a domesticated animal for plesure and i carry domestic tools from BnQ or the like with no financhal gain for repairing the fence as it is ours.
I would say that it is domestic use and am really quite put out.

Also a colleague has a navara double cab pick up for their horses,both adults work in an office and the navara is only used for domesticated pets but yet they also now have to have comercial insurance.....

Not happy....:mad::mad::mad::mad:
I remember some time back when the new severn bridge was built the taffy farmers kicking off cos the bridge tried to charge 90 LR at comercial van rate....it did not go ahead....90 is a domestic vehicle.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I tried the NFU for my Disco 2. Not a chance as I occaisionally weigh my own scrap vehilces in. LV= soughted me out no bother and at a good price. Been with them for a few years now. £380 ish inc use for my own Biz fully comp. They know i some times pull the 3500 max gross weight cheers Nick. :)
