Quick question does any one know of an attachment for an air chisel to be able to use with Domed head rivets ?
Starting to put my Series 2a back together.

The dome head rivets are aluminium as I'm sure you have seen, they are very soft so a manual rivet snap of the correct diameter and a hammer is usually all that's required.

Interestingly all the rivet holes you can see on that picture on mine are filled with blind pop rivets from factory. Mines a 1980 88"

Nice paint work going on there.

Traditionally anyplace you can get a bucking bar you use the domed rivets and any place you can not get a bucking bar you use a pop rivet ;-) The domed rivets should not be painted in the back end as raw is correct this is the way the left the plant and if painted then you know the truck has been painted as the body was painted first and the galvanized capping went on last ! I learned that yesterday ;-)
Going to get one of these for the rivets.
I am happy with the paint she has undergone a full strip down and repaint. The jigsaw puzzle starts now. A fe other pictures of the paint work.

Nice paint job, I am in the process of doing up my 2a but a long way off from painting. Out of interest what size domed head rivets did you use?
