The compressor on my 2001 TD5 has become noisy recently and am reluctantly considering changing to coils after seeing the price of a new unit? There are used ones on eBay but obviously you take a chance on their condition, don't suppose anyone on here has one knocking around they would like to sell me?

Get yourself on Ebay, a guy sells a refurb kit for around £30, which are apparently very good.

My 1999 xs has air & I replaced air bags & compressor & I would not give up my air suspension I do a lot of heavy towing & love how it self levels . You will never get that with springs

no you dont but then you also dont get an issue with 4 wheel trailers taking weight of suspension on rough roads and system dropping and taking a good while to catch up
