I was asked on one of my videos if I knew whether or not the earlier L322 needed to be told it has had a new battery. It's down to 64% and a 4x4 specialist had quoted about £140 for a battery (pretty reasonable I guess for it being fitted) but then suggested it may need "pairing" and the quote shot to £320! That seems unreasonable to me.

For my ones, I just plug in Gap and tell it that it has a new battery and confirm the amperage etc. but I don't know if that's the case on the earlier cars, can any of you confirm this for me please?

Battery Megastore on line would be cheaper. If fitted, make sure that it's the biggest capacity that will fit and put on charge as soon as you get it home as it will likely be only part charged when fitted.

It's not for me and I don't know where the owner is based, just wondered if anybody could say for certain whether or not the car needs to be told it's had a battery replacement as I've not had one of that era,
