I can't even put one up if I wanted too....
1800€ in parts with two front bearings after one failed a couple of months after.... Luckily the repair was done by myself and our Elliott. Otherwise it would have been a possible right off..... :) I'm too scared to wash it now:p

Unless you moced it the air intake is about level with the top of the wheel arch on the passenger side.
I noticed that after this particular expedition. I did get water in the air filter and some even made it into the pipe to the air intake manifold. Up until then I was labouring under the misapprehension, courtesy of some ill informed muppet that told me, the air intake was through the grill at the top of the bulk head by the windscreen wipers! And it was not until I fitted a snorkel that I discovered where it really was!

Did you get any water through door seals
No - one of the wonderful things that I enjoy about greenlaning/off roading in a RR is how comfortable it is. I have been out in the middle of winter with people in 110's and series LR's - and they are wearing coats and scarves and gloves and wellies with liners because the heaters are ineffective and the doors leak - so they have water swilling around their feet!
Wheras I am smug in a mostly level cab in shirt sleeves, with a warm dry, comfortable leather upholstered acoustically sealed cocoon around me. :D
This of course is a cue for my next outing to involve wet feet and a drowned ECMU....

I plan to take my P38 to Tickhill Lane soon. The most I've ever done is wade through some floods and the occasional greenlane. The car is stock so it'll be interesting to test its offroading capabilities. Hopefully, I won't damage the car.

If you do wade then check the depth first. Don't go above the wheel-arches as the intake is in the arch and it'll suck up water. The v8 has some capability to catch the odd bit that gets through but the diesel doesn't.

Thanks. Personally, I’m not aiming to go above the bottom of my doors.

I want to get my Java Black P38 as muddy as possible but before all that, I need to replace my washer tank!

Remember to wash off the rads after wading. The mud cakes them and turns to ceramic. Same with the block.

If you have an electric fan and dive ‘Dopey’ deep have a switch you can knock it off while you dip.
There was a guy here that fitted the becm above head to avoid water. With good door seals nothing should really creep in unless something happens and you have to open the door to get out.
If youve done something silly like cut a hole in floor pan to change lift pump there’s a bung at bottom of spare wheel well can remove to let the water drain back out.
