Hi guys

I need your expert advise ! My Dorothy with all this stupid weather we have been getting has been playing up when I start her from first start in morning or when I finish work and am on my way home . Once she has been started though she is fine and will knick on again when I switch ignition off . It happened back in Jan first and I had the rac man out who diagnosed that the wiring to the starter is drying out and causing issues . My other half is on about rubbing the connector down to the starter greasing it and then basically shrinking a seal around to stop the elements getting to it ! Is that a good idea ?? X

So why have you posted it in the rescue forum?

It would be better on a sexual problem page. We have no idea why Dorothy wont "start" in the morning .
If, by some weird stretch of our imagination, Dorothy is a car, do you think it might be a good idea to say what it is, and post in the correct area

Moved though I couldn't find our sexual problem page

Intermittent starting is often dodgy connections either positive feed to starter or earth from battery to chassis and/or chassis to engine.

:).

First thing to try is to ensure the small spade terminal is clean and tight. Dorothy will like that :D

A quick rub and lube is always a good idea
