I doubt there is very much of any 86 left thats original to the vehicle, This one has had a lot of different parts put on it, its not a crime.

The fact it’s got a td5 engine would mean engine mount modification not a bolt on replacement other than that all other panels are replaceable surly? I put a new rear cross member on my 300 bout 3yrs ago and was offered several options from the 200 to td5 I opted for the original but regret it because the earlier and latter in my opinion provide better maintenance access I intend to rebuild my 300 and will be putting td5 axles on and changing steering box from what I’ve been told that’s ok To up grade brakes is a good thing yes ? Cos I want to put vented disks etc on isn’t that the beauty of owning a landy ? If it’s a ringer that’s not good but if someone spent money to make what they had better which isn’t that what most of us defender addicts do ? No defenders should die is my belief and I’ve even got wife on board
