From the Glass facebook page ...
UPDATE.
Doctors Gate lane in Durham Northumberland has fallen into disrepair over several years and is now in a sorry state.
Our GLASS County Durham Rep, Andy Hutchfield set up a Just Giving crowdfunding page two months ago with the intention of raising £1500 which he planned to be used to part fund repairs in conjunction with Durham County Council.
Andy had a fantastic start to the new year when he hit his target which we all agree is brilliant news.
Since then Andy approached the Glass executive committee asking if they would match the figure he had already raised with the intention of pushing forward a united partnership with Durham CC thus proving the green lane fraternity are serious about lane conservation.
We are pleased to announce GLASS matched the figure he raised, taking his total to £3000.
Andy's page is still open for those keen to contribute to the project.
The Green Lane Association would like to thank all who have already contributed, and well done to Andy and his team for their brilliant work.
