that looks to have similar properties as Diesel Rhino .. which i use with regular diesel fuel
you can check via the internet as to what the various ingredients are generally used for ..
find the data sheet .. usually a .pdf file .. then google search the individual ingredients ..

suffice to say mine's got 160k on the clock .. original injectors / h.p. fuel pump / glow plugs
and runs smooth .. relatively quiet .. 40mpg .. and never had any starting or running issues at all ..

if you read thru the link in my sig. .. bottom of post
" why injectors fail "
you can make up your own mind as to whether
additives be a good idea .. or not ..

Thanks for the response . I haven't used the additive yet but I'm going to give it a go and see if it makes my difference or if I notice a difference .

Might make a very slight difference, but you can just buy the best quality fuel in the first place, it already contains cleaners etc.
Also the amount of people I know who drive about nearly on empty and then wonder why they have issues.
I now never run less than half a tank,
One, you've always got enough in case of an emergency,
And secondly it doesn't hurt so much to fill up.

I use Comma Diesel Magic, every month. It does help keep the injectors clean, so is worth using.
I use this as well and am really happy with it. I run it full strength in winter as it contains a combustion booster too but in warmer weather I used half as much as recommended to just maintain cleaning effect.

When the hippo accidently got filled up with the wrong fuel, I had 60 plus liters of petrol to get rid off...so for every tank full of diesel I put 10 liters of the petrol..never did it any harm in fact I could swear in ran better....put a bit of 2 stroke in to as I was getting paranoid about the injection pump..but hey how all been OK.

I used to put a couple of hundred ml of two stroke in with a tank full. It seemed to make for quieter running. I use Comma now from time to time.

I use to use two stroke in my VW T4 years ago, you could get 3 bottles for the price of most Diesel boost additives. It certainly made a difference, will be adding it to my FL1 Sport.

2 stroke mineral oil - but it depends on the type of injector system, i believe.

Oh ok, just bought a FL1 Sport, being my first Landy, so I’ll follow what you guys recommend.
The Rhino diesel stuff was developed and tested on the VW T4, the guy also refurbishes and upgrades injectors, whilst we all ran the cheap 2 stroke lawn mower oil.

A real old boy once told me ( during the war ! ) he used to run his truck on paraffin.
I passed a garage that was selling it for £1 a gallon ( few years back ) I used to put about four gallons in then fill with diesel.
Did hundreds of miles with no ill effects ( until I was warned for duty evasion )

Paraffin is basically crude diesel with a red dye added for tax identification purposes. ;)

theres no lubrication in paraffin the last thing you want in a diesel system, though it was widely used as a petrol replacement especially in farming
