Do I scrap it or keep it

Yea I can weld and I can fabricate only issue is no ramp to get body of but where there's a way the will lol

Depends on how accessible the rotten areas are if it's on top of the chassis it obviously is a right pain to get at.

I don't think a full chassis swaps viable with a D2 unless you're going to keep it no matter what. You'd just lose too much money selling it. Be good if there's enough sound metal left to weld to. If it wasn't for the chassis rot D2's would probably be best appreciating LR after defenders

D1's are the future, especially 50th anniversary models

Could hire the lifting tackle over a weekend, then it's storage

Yeah because bodyworks easier to repair than chassis swaps are to carry out

For me anyway! Best thing about series/90/110s you don't need a bloody big lifty thing to get the body off

+1 mine's 2004 with 94000 miles and it's showing signs of rust on the inner arches, especially nearside

Now , If someone was picky, I wonder what the legalities of something like that are. As it is 2nd hand. Altho in reality I cannot see anyone ever taking notice and having an issue.
