Greetings,
I'm going to need to torque up the stake nut on the end of the diff shaft requiring a socket of some sort I can attach to me torque wrench. I did find a tool made specifically for the job here:
Dingocroft (Penn Rental Service Ltd t/a) Gearbox and Transfer Box Tools
blurb here:
Adaptor Socker for Centre Diff Stake Nut Ref: LRT-41-007
Application: LT230R and LT230T transfer gearboxes.
Description: Adaptor for centre differential stake nut to allow tightening by standard 1/2" drive socket tools.
Old tool number: 18G1423
Price: £67.67 (£79.51 Including VAT at 17.5%)
But that price is ridiculous, and won't make the job very economical for me. Has anyone else come up with anything similar, or found a cheap box spanner that can be adapted?
