I have a set of 30mm wheel spacers for my discovery. I have steel wheels on, and these spacers are hubcentric. the internal bore of the wheel is larger than the diameter of the hubcentric part of the spacer, thus rendering the hubcentric part useless.

My question is, are there different sized wheels knocking about? Or are there different bore diameter spacers available. All hubcentric spacers on eBay dont list the measurements for me to check :(

Infact, have a picture.

Ive offered up the spacer to a spare alloy wheel I have, and it sits perfect onto the rim with no movement. Worst case I'll have to ditch the steelies :(

With steel wheels the nuts have a taper as do the stud hole in the wheel, as such it doesn't matter about any gap, they are designed for alloy wheels with nuts that don't have a taper to locate the wheel

I see what you are saying. I always thought the alloy wheels nut gave it the centralization it required. I had to use a pry bar to get the wheel to sit central. Had a set of non hubcentric spacers before, and they made for an interesting amount of front wheel bounce!! haha
