Discovery Sport won’t start

Is this normal??? Fees seem ridiculously high just to identify the issue. They appear to have no idea whats causing it.

Main dealers put their best mechanics on diagnostic and complex sfuff like engine changes. Those with less knowledge do the lesser stuff like changing alternaters and servicing. Prices are high to pay for marble floors, free tea/cakes and treating customers like royalty.
