Had a 110. My dream machine but it died. Now got a disco series 2 TD5 manual 02 plate. Like it but electronics are a problem. Got an issue with the alarm/immobiliser/key fobs. Currently remote locking etc does not work and if I use the key the alarm goes off and the vehicle wont start. Any ideas?

assuming the key is working....the rf receiver above the headlining.
The key locks and unlocks the doors but when you open the door the alarm goes off aand engine wont start

By key working I mean the fob bit...the buttons. Do you have more than 1 key? do the keys have power in the batteries?
If its been fob locked the alarm/ immobilizer are armed and they stay armed until you unlock with the fob no matter what you do....the EKA will override it but the clue there is Emergency Key Access. You sure wouldn't want to do that palaver every time you want to start it.
If the keys...buttons...electronics...not the metal key part...are good then first thing Id look at is the RF receiver.
