Discovery 4 FBH / Parking heater

Hello I'm David and new to this so be gentle.
Can anyone help please? I have a 2010 Discovery 4 tdv6 Hse. I've looked under the bonnet and noticed the car has a factory fbh fitted however, I am at a loss as to how to operate the thing. I cannot find any controls, key fobs, or menu's on the screen.

welcome to the asylum, plus any pics of ur D4 , we all like piccies of landies, lol

they come on automatically when the outside temp is at or below 5c

Hi Thanks for the reply. yes it does help, the link to the info was very informative and given me ideas of installing a remote control.

plus if u didn't know there's a discovery section , with about 5 x D3 owners , think there is indeed another d4 owner in there

Hi Guys. Been a long while. Just bought a d4 landmark.
Timed climate. What do the manual heat/vent buttons do? What would I have to do to fit a remote control to the heating? Landrover fob type. I’ve tried the time settings and it fires up. Just not sure on the rest as the instructions are not very good with the car

Am in the same boat i never knew apart from setting on timer on touch screen that it comes on at 5c
