Landrover Discovery 1 1998 2.5 Diesel Automatic.
This has been used as our family car for the last few years, it is in very good condition, the usual marks and scrapes for a 14 year old car nothing out of the ordinary.
it is the 300 facelift model and one of the last with it being a 1998. And Has Been Really Looked After
It Comes With a Full 12month MOT And Has Tax Till The End of November So You Can Drive Away
It has had loads of work done over the past 6 months, including :-
Fuel System
Sedimenter Removed and a Complete new fuel line from the rear Tank to the front fuel lift pump, A New Fuel Lift Pump, Fuel Filter, Injector Tips Were Replaced And The Run Off Pipes too
Cooling System
New Radiator and Water Pump and a Clear Expansion Tank Is Fitted So You Can Actually Keep a Check on The Coolant Level Properly.
Engine
Complete headgasket Set Fitted along with New Headbolts, The Engine was Thoroughly De-Coacked, Valves Re-Ground, New Stem Seals, Valve Clearences Done, Oil And Oil Filter, Oil Pressure Switch, Various Oil Seals for Oil Cooler and drain plugs etc
Belts
New Complete Cambelt Kit Fitted Tensioner and Idler, Front Cover Gasket and Crankshaft Oil Seal (both) Replaced, New Drive Belt and Tensioner Also Replaced
Autobox
Autobox Fluid Replaced 5 Times Over the Past 6 Months Due to it only Being Able to Drain 4 ltrs at a Time, Ive Never Had any Issues with Gearbox
The Autobox Filter was Also Replaced, And A New Autobox Sump Gasket Fitted
Exhaust
Complete Exhaust System from the Front To The Back Including a Straight Through Downpipe, But The One With The Flexible Pipe (not the Cheap defender one) And The EGR Valve Has Been Removed And Blanked Off and the Rubber Pipes Replaced
Suspension
Both Rear Shocks Replaced, Fluids for Cvs, Differential etc all Done
Bodywork
Driverside Wheel Arch Repaired And Welding Done to the Arch aswell As the Drivers side Sill Which Is Now All Sorted, and a Little Bit of Welding On the N/S Sill But thats Very Solid, The other Arch Could Use Touching Up A Little (See pics)
As You Can See Ive Been Busy, But its was Worth it, it Drives Like New, Is Good on Fuel, and is Bodily Solid
Took it For MOT Today And it Passed With a Excellent Emmisions Result and Only 1 Advisory Which Was For An Slight Oil Stain Undergearbox (which we Believe is from me changing the fluid over and over) and not a leak.
The Car Also Comes With a Cd Player a CB Radio
I Have Also Fitted a Turbo Pressure Guage So Your Able to Keep Track of The Turbos Operation
There is a Roof Rack Fitted And i Do Have some accesories available Which i will Be selling Seperatley So Let Me Know if You Want Them at Extra Cost
The Interior is in great Condition Everything Works as it Should, except for a Couple of Bulbs in a Couple of the Dash Switches(i never got around to these)
All 4 Electric Windows, Electirc Mirrors, Remote Locking With 2 Keys and Fobs, Radio Code and Original Landrover Books
Genuine Landrover Floormats are Fitted, The Front Seats Have Landrover Seatcovers on them, However there is nothing wrong with the seats Themselves, i just prefered the covers
This is a Great 7 Seater Vehicle Which Has Been Really looked After, And Is Nothing Like The Usual Discoverys You Get Just Recently, The Asking Price is Refelective of The Work and Time Spent so Grab yourself a Great Example
