Discovery 3 New Electric Handbrake motor issue

Hello

I fitted new electric handbrake motor from ESEN SKV, but when is plugged in the car goes in Error mode and doesn't event start. Plugged in the old motor and the car starts but of course the hand brake doesn't work. Does the new motor had to be installed through a diagnostic tool or maybe there is a special procedure after installing a brand new handbrake motor ?
