I first drove rovers for Aberdeen mountain rescue in late 60's early 70's plus b orrowed for rally marshalling. Had a share in an ex army austin champ and have had 3 Disco's since, a Tdi, a V8 and now a TDV6SE. Clutch went on Friday after 11k, yes going up a very steep icy/snow hill but..
Have since heard from 3 different sources that there are serious clutch problems with the Disco 3.
It is the ultimate dream car but at nearly £40K this shouldn't be happening.
I nfairness should hear more tomorrow when dealers re-open.
Has anyone else heard of similar problems????
There were supposed gearbox problems with the last but one model. My V8i R reg was perfect and did 150K without any replacements.
Have i just been unlucky or have I totally lost my ability to drive a Disco?
