I’m on with the brakes on my build. There’s literally not pedal. All new calipers ,brake pipes and flexi pipes. And I can not get a pedal. So got a seal kit for the original master cylinder. But it was still the same. So got a new master cylinder (britpart) and it’s still exactly the same. Same feel and everything. Only things that are from the original is the servo and the pressure reduction valve. It is a 6x6 now. But I can’t see that would effect the pedal like that. Could it just be a dodgy nee master cylinder?

Do you get a pedal but just very low?

Have you converted to 6x6, your master now has to move more fluid just a thought;).

Clamp off the extra 2 and see if you can get a good pedal:).

It’s odd. It was like that before I started the build on the old motor. I just assumed it was the flexi’s etc. Pedal goes right to the floor. I’ve pressure bleed it. And bleed it with the pedal to and no difference. I’ll blank the back two callipers off just to rule that out

Did you convert to 6x6 or did you buy it that way and it never had a brake pedal?

The servo won’t make any difference so you can discount that, the pressure reduction valve can stick shut but that would still give you good brakes for the front, have you the two pipe three nipples callipers? If you have I have found the easiest way to bleed them is with two T pieces and a bit of pipe, leave all the nipples open and bleed away that way you will expel all the air,
When you bleed previously with the new master did you get a good through put of fluid and air ? If you didn’t then I would suspect the new master as faulty,

Yes front callipers are the two pipe ones. There’s plenty fluid comes out when you bleed it. But still no peddle when it’s nipped up. All I can think is it’s a faulty master cylinder

Thanks for heads up lads. It was just a bit air in the end. On the top copper pipe from the front callipers where they join the flexi pipes. Air was trapped there on both side.
