It starts in position one?????
normally you insert the key and turn it, first it disengages the steering wheel lock, then it turns on aux i.e. radio etc then it goes to the position where the lights on the dash come on etc, then ONE further position the starter turns.
so position 3 or 4 depending on how you look at it. I'll call it position 3.
If the starter continues spinning, then power is going to it when it shouldn't i.e. the key is not releasing itself.
Sound basically that you need to strip the ignition switch down and rectify the problem.
The rest of the electric problems could be down to a whole host of things. but I'd start with checking for damp and dodgy earths, around all fuse boxes.
Others will come on and give you help but we do need a bit of clarification.

So I put the key in,I turn the key once and the truck starts, yes constant power to the starter I do not know why the key feels the same as it always has nothing is different other then the alarm kept going off about a week ago and no one told me as it’s at yard where I store it in the week, all fuse boxes are dry earths are good, I went to it again tonight as it’s dark,I have an indicator constantly on when it’s started how can all them things happen in the space of 2 days of leaving it, someone also said BCU might be gone how will I tell

First suspect is the interior fusebox, even if it seems dry from outside it can have corrosion inside and make all kind of oddities

It's not 100% certain that the fusebox is at fault but as i said it's the first suspect, it can have invisible fault too, depends on your electonic skills if you can find the fault and fix it or not, if you see corrosion the maybe, they are not very expensive from scrapyard so the easyest way to rule it out is to swap it with a known good one cos it's almost plug and play, important is to be from same modell(facelift or not), to disconnect the battery first then after the swap and battery reconnection turn ignition on 2(not crank) and let it so 5 minutes to regain digital data comms with the BCU... if this one is ruled out and the fault is the same the next step is the BCU but this one needs complex programming with dedicated tool and know how to do it.

My Disco 1 had an indicator permanently on. Occasionally the hazards would come on and the only way to switch them off was to pull over, switch off the ignition and then back on again. It turned out to be the alarm ECU box was full of water.

sounds like something got wet - Any chance you can feel any dampness in the footwell, passenger (BCU ecu) or driver side (fusebox)? as others have stated I would start with the interior fusebox, sorry to say but it is a bitch to take out
