Hi everyone i am having a bit of a job with my 2003 discovery 2 windows the front drivers and passenger ones they keep blowing the fuse and now I cant even get a fuse in the holder and it blows it straight away even if there is no key in the ignition and it just won't let me put a fuse in before it blows it again and my windows stuck down lol just wondering if anybody had the same problem cheers and advice would be greatly received cheers

You have to find out why it's shorting.

It is possible there is a problem with the motor that winds the winda ;)

Or there is a frayed wire somewhere ;)

I have unplugged the window motors and still blows a fuse but and the window switches so it must just be a frayed wire somewhere

I have never understood the insistence of some people to "introducing yourself" on a forum...
I can see both sides of the debate. Personally i don't care if they introduce themselves or not. A lot do. It's nice in a way to announce they're here before asking for help, which is what most sign up for. I would never condemn a noob for not introducing themselves but some do. I would still reply with help if they didn't introduce. Some noobs have amazing stories to tell. As long as they stick around and take part in the forum i don't care if they introduce or not.

Still going.... nearly time for MOT..

Not nearly as enjoyable working on, as the Disco. :p Oh, and its not so wallowy, since I pumped up the tyres...

Im on lots of forums, so I know the etiquette. I just dont see the point in chastising those that dont...

to think LZ is same as all other social media nonsense is bit condescending to say the least.
Many fools individuals sign up, get help then bu**er off, which is their right. If you want to be part of the family, reading the sign up email and posting an intro shirley isn’t a lot to ask for all the free help and wisdom that JLR would charge you a fortune for!

Or you could be right instead.
