discovery 2 rear indicators

Hi ive got a 2002 pre face lift td5 disco does anyone have an idea why my high level indicators stopped working the ones in the bumper still work. Checked the bulbs, tried plugging in my caravan as was told they only work when trailer socket in use, even tried looking on landrover rave cd and does not even show any bulbs on the wiring diagram can any one help please

I have a 51plate Discovery and that only has indicators located in the bumper, no high level, are you sure you have them. Thought they were only introduced after the face lift

hi its definately got bulbs in holder and used to flash when i set the alarm passanger side stopped and a few days later so did the drivers side im clueless its time to by a mitsubishi

What colour is your high level light cluster, is it mostly red with a white reverse portion or does it have an orange section.

If it has an orange section, sounds like someone has retro fitted the units.

The manual quotes the pre face lift cluster having Tail, stop and reversing lights only and no mention of an indicator. It might be worth checking the wiring from the bumper indicator lights to the cluster in case the retro fit has been done poorly.

its mainly red with a white reverse light bit had a look at wiring and all looks orignal apart from trailer socket wiring

If it looks like this then it doesn't have high level indicators only bumper ones
