discovery 2 knocking noise

Morning folks. I recently got myself a 99 disco td5.

Its been fine up untill now. Its developed a loud knocking noise while driving. Not in idle but while cruising along. It started at first when i was just tickling the accelerator but now its getting louder and more constant.

Sounds as if its coming from under me front left.

Id be very gratefull on your thoughts. Cheers kris

CV joint perhaps. Try putting it on full right lock and drive in a circle to see if it is worse. Try left full lock as well.
