read again the instructions...first digit(number) is to unlock, second to lock and so on, so for yours 5 times unlock then 12 times lock, etc
the best is to set your own code with nanocom from a combination of small numbers, between 1 and 5 to be easyer to insert, eg 2 1 4 3 or so
hi guys and girls would one of you educated people enlighten me re entering the EKA code ? when going from unlock to lock is that movement counted as one of the digits or does one go from unlock to lock and then enter the digits
Regards and many thanks in anticipation Kevin
Hi All
New to forum.
After having problems getting into My D2 V8 with the fob I followed EKA instructions from here and handbook that I had ( not original to vehicle) as well as other places and had no luck.
My hand book did not mention and no post that I have seen here seems to mention that: YOU MUST WAIT 5 MINUTES after the final key turn before you enter the vehicle. during the 5 minutes the red light will flash intermittently and then flash at 8 times a second when it is time to enter. On entry YOU MUST TURN KEY TO POSITION 2 within 30 seconds.
If I have repeated something posted before I apologise.
Anyway I am now in. Fob still doesn't work but at least I am on the move.
Tis to be found further up the thread, but basically you have to prove to a Land Rover dealer that you are the legal keeper of the car. He should then give you all the codes that should have come on a little card in the wallet with your handbook that you haven't got! Or you do something electronic with a good diagnostics, which I wouldn't begin to know anything about! Read the whole thread!Hi Can anybody tell me where I can get my EKA code from? I have no paperwork that tells me what it is....
Getting fed up of the alarm going of every time I open the door. Bet the neighbours are as well.
Cheers
Dave
Hi, but why do you keep opening the door as long as the vehicle is immobilised?Hi Can anybody tell me where I can get my EKA code from? I have no paperwork that tells me what it is....

That’s where your going wrong. Use the fob to unlock and unset the alarm system at the same time, so if u have an issue with your fob then why not resolve it?Thanks.
I’ve read the thread and know how to do it I just need the EKA code to do it. Engine is not immobilised. Just cant turn the alarm off. I have to open the disco with the key......
Start the engine and the alarm stops.....
I think you missed post #30... as long as the vehicle starts no need for the EKA cos the tester will comunicate with the BCU once the vehicle was started. EKA is for immobiliserYou don't need a fob. Mine is in a drawer and it was for another lock I think.
Do the EKA once, then turn the alarm off. Once and for all. Make 3 times sure all alarm options are gone.
Make a copy of your key.
