Disconnect the battery, unplug the sensors and inspect the plugs to not have loosen pins or corrosion eventually give them electric contact spray, the contacts at the sensors used to suffer from water ingress and then they mix up the management, that' why these kits are well sold(read full decription): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Discover...029562&hash=item23441bf41b:g:GL4AAOxyHslQ5CM8 ... if these are ruled out it can be a sensor's internal issue or not uncommon to be an intermittent interruption in the loom between the sensor and the ECU and then complete rewiring is needed, i've seen twice this thing

Do not work at the sensors without disconnecting the battery first cos the system might loose calibration

Was flat on the bump stops wife heard avbang then it went flat. I replaced the air bags no joy the valve block no jot, stripped the pump down new piston seal no joy......looked at the pump again moisture in the safety release valve it had popped gave it a clean reset the release valve been perfect since

Yes but IMO this has nothing to do with the symptom described by the OP when the compressor's feed was cut in 3-15 seconds without obvious reason

Mine was doing the same
I can't contest your statement but it has no logical explanation then, that safety release valve you mentioned is mechanical and it's there to protect the bags from blowing in case of overpressure, as the system was built and the management conceived if that valve is stuck opened the compressor would keep pumping not stop in 3 - 15 seconds... what can i say, LR can act in mysterious ways
