Discovery 1 help!

Hello every one look for some ideas on what to do with my truck.checker plate where? Ideas for floor as have no carpet,ideas to get bonnet open.done the lean on it trick?,dose any one have a picture/diagram of what button dose what on the dash and how the electric seats work? Also when I pull away it’s like it’s just got no go until you change to second.it has lift kit.body life and all the other stuff for off road.and 33 once tyers I know that don’t help but I would say it’s also something else.thanks in advance.il post some pics now and once I’ve done all I want to her.

I don’t get the obsession with chequer plate to be honest, don’t think it needs any. I’m sure the 33’s are the only reason it’s slow off the mark, they aren’t exactly sprightly on standard wheels and tyres.

Don't do anything to it until you have all the fluids and filters changed out and the cam belt replaced.

The bonnet is the T handle under the dash on the passenger side, if that don't work then go through the grille and find the cable, if the cable is broke then you have to get busy with a small flat blade screw driver to pry the little clevis back to let it open.

Buttons on the dash all say what they are and any symbols are easily identified on goggle or post symbol here. She looks well molested so doubt the symbols match up to much.

Electric seat switches are on the side of the centre console, if they don't work, check the electrical system from fuses back.
