Discovery 1 heater motor

Hi guys, can anyone advise me if the heater motor from a 300 discovery will fit into a 200 discovery?

Thanks, I had to ask as a friend is breaking his 300 . Next question is does anyone know where I can buy a new one, so far I've only found them on MM 4x4.
It's time I replaced it I think five years without one is long enough lol

I take it you have a 200. Real pain in the backside to get the heater box out.
All the dash needs to come out. Would be best to replace the complete unit.
Cant remember if the motor comes out without splitting the cases.
Matrix is a real pain to swap.

For a 200 series disco I've only see pictures of the heater, but I can confirm the motor is very similar to the one fitted to the RRC as I have the parts catalogues and Haynes manuals for both vehicles, so that's something worth alook for a replacement.

When I replaced mine i went Down the scrat yard and matched it up with one the same size. Think I needed to swop the fan over. 2 years later it's still ok
