Hi all, I know this question would have been asked a number of times but I can't seem to find the right answer on the forums, at least not for an early vehicle like mine. I recently acquired a 1990 Discovery 1V8 and the heater blower isn't working. I have checked the fuses & relay and power is getting to the heater blower slider switch and power is coming from the switch at the various speed settings, so the fault must be beyond the switch.
It is most likely the fan motor which is faulty but is there any way to get to that without removing the whole dash which is what I understand needs to be done to remove it totally. It would be good to check that the power is getting to the fan itself to eliminate any other inline faults.
Could the problem also be the resistors in the circuit as identified on the wiring diagram? Can these be got to without removing the dash?
As usual any help and comments would be much appreciated!
