Hi all,

Just trying to gauge what interest if any in the alloy wheels I currently have on my Disco - 16" Cyclone alloys with the inner part in black.

The alloys are in good condition for their age, no dents etc - a little bit of scraping on the rims, but nothing at all major as the tyres far protude the rims - well certainly not done in my time of ownership - over 4 years now!

I am looking at putting on a set of -35 offset modulars so hoping to get back a bit of the outlay.

On flea bay they seem to go for around £25-£30 per wheel???

If interested please let me know and we can hopefully work out a deal for all 4 and then I can get the modulars ordered so everyone is happy :D

Based in the BS39 area for collection - ideally ;)
 
Anyone remotely interested?

Need to have something to persuade SWMBO the modulars are a good buy

Sorry, tyres not included as they will be staying with me and put onto the new modulars.

I am about 12 miles south of Bristol if that helps, but don't mind helping in delivery if the price is right ;)

Also, if it helps, i have found a garage in Brislington that will swop over the tyres, balance valve etc for a fiver a wheel :)
 
These will be available from Saturday, as got my modulars delivered and booked in at the tyre garage for the swop over :D

Sensible offers considered just so I am not storing them in my garage ;)

Should give you a good idea what they are like.

There are no dings or dents in them, perfectly straight, and as far as I can recall there is no kerbing damage, unlike some of the crap you see on ebay :rolleyes:
 
What size are the tyres you had on those rims?... wondering if my 265's would fit?

Would you throw in the nuts for £25/rim?

I'm pretty sure they will fit my 2001 defender!?

265's fit no probs, as that's what I had fitted - bfg A/T's 265/70/16

Can throw in 3 sets of wheel nuts as I need to keep one set for my spare as that's an alloy, for £100 ;)

Bump, as the buyer I did have can't make it now, so has kindly let me know to save messing me about.

Will take £100.00 for the 4 wheels (plus 15 wheel nuts (worth at least £15.00 :D) as need one set for my spare!) as that's the amount I accepted from the other forum member, so keeping it uniform ;)
