Hi all
I have recently bought a d1 300tdi automatic
The truck had been sat in a feild for years and somone had stolen the keys
I have taken the ignition barrel apart and using a screwdriver to turn over the engine as I want to make sure the vehicle works before getting a new key made
I have joined the black and orange wires on the immobiliser output plug (I seen this mentioned on another thread) this allowed the engine to turn over but not putting fuel up to the injectors so I’m guessing that it hasn’t opens up the stop solenoid.
Is there anymore wires I could join to solve this? Is there any other way around the imobaliser
Regards Jed

You just need a positive feed to the solenoid on the injection pump to open it up, if the solenoid is still in working order.

It depends on how much you are prepared to play with the drivers door lock.
But you need to be able to do the equivalent of use the EKA code in the driver's door lock. And as this involves being able to turn the key in the lock you have to do two things.
Get the EKA code from Land Rover, not hard, main dealer on proof of ownership.
Secondly remove the wafers in the barrel of the lock so that it can be turned by roughly any LR key. So you can use the EKA to unlock the immobiliser.

I understand there are other ways around the immobiliser as well.

Not ideal. I bought a V8 Disco 1 and it was only when the battery went flat that I discovered that my ignition key wouldn't open the door! One day I'll fiddle with the wafers in the door lock to enable myself to open it with the key.
