disco sloppy gear lever

Have just bought a 200tdi disco on a l reg drove it home fine been to work in it for a few daus all good battery died tonight so had my friend hook me up to his disco to pull me to bump it and now the gearstick is just slopping about and I cant get no gears

I'd guess the bump starting and the sloppy change are just a coincidence. The gear lever is secured as below - this may have come loose?

I had exactly the same and the nylon bush (item22) had disintegrated and left the gear stick like a pr**k in a bowler hat. New bush and she's a good 'un now.
