Hello all I'm pretty new in here and was wondering if anybody has or knows if I can upgrade my interior Disco 1 seats etc to one out of a p38 or td5. ?? Cheers.

Also you can make anything fit with a bit of grinding and welding.

I've basically rebuilt my disco using the search button.
I had looked at rear P38 seats in my disco, and I don't mind a bit of fabrication and welding but this was a bit too much faffing (if you know what I mean) for something that I don't really need - more important things to work on - so I have left it as more of a summer project - if we ever get one!

rrc seats fit rears go straight in fronts you need to swop runner ends d2 seats fit apart from seat 6&7

These are what I have sat waiting to go in the rear of mine....
It was the cup holders that attracted me to them as no option with the RRC one's that do fit straight in with no mods - just need a dry weekend to sort them - but they are bit scarce in Somerset at present....

RRC front seats are no a 'direct' replacement for the D1 seats if u wish to still have the use of the RRCs drop down arm rests.

I agree the search facility could be better and I have found that goes for all Forums.
If the Forum search doesn't work for me I use Google, as that gives results and options of a few Forums that may be of interest, and not only from UK.
Well after a good few hours taking out the rear seats and trying the p38 seats i have, the rear seats don't fit.
Its not even 'make them fit' as they are the complete wrong shape around the rear wheel arches, so the stories i have heard saying they will fit (just the brackets to change) are wrong or at least i certainly can't see how to get them in.....

Thats a shame. I was hoping that you got them to fit. Needing to repair my fronts and thought if p38 seats fitted I would of changed the full interior instead of repairing my old ones.
